ah funkadelic awesome love that tune always good to mix it up a bit always some people thatll go nuts when a classic like that gets played unexpected

and that bit he's playing at the moment and opened up his dmz set with. i'm on a detective mission to work out what that is as i need to know and he's not telling. it' sick! literally it is ill. it's wonky; wrong but so right!
are you referring to that cracked-out tune he ended his fabric set with?? that was ridiculous...

I remember when he ended on that at Fabric, he got some proper confused looks. Great tune though, spaced out, glitchy weirdo dub with vocals that sound like Prince on cough syrup. Would like to know what it is too.
I know what it is!

DJ Mitsu The Beats - Negative Ion (SA-RA Remix)

It is one of the most loopy songs I've ever heard, it's awesome and I have had it on vinyl for about two years. If you can't find it, buy this mix:

http://www.discogs.com/release/579522

It is bomb. This track gets played in it's entirety... it's (roughly) 18 minute, "I am in outer space" entirety... and the rest of the mix is well worth whatever you pay for it.

I love it when good music that isn't dubstep gets played in the midst of good music that is.... I'd like to hear some Jaylib in a dubstep set.

(ps. first post on this forum. hi!)

after the second set....

Roger Troutman and Zapp - Computer Love
Roger Troutman and Zapp - More Bounce
NuShooz - I Can't Wait
Phil Collins and Philip Bailey - easy lover

I'm sure there were a few others too....
joe - i have some requests for when i'm over for dubwar! i'm curious if you know them - i'm sure you do!

glenn scarpelli - don't mess up this good thing
con funk shun - sure it feels good to me
maze ft frankie beverly - workin' togeher
james ingram - ya mo b there
Massive selections.

I've said it once and i'll say it again...the best non-Prince concert i've ever been to is Frankie Beverly feat Maze. People ask about the towel thing that ive got going on when i play live....

part of it -- well -- it's hot. the other reason -- frankie beverly would always have a white towel with him on stage. he'd always wear a white hat too. My head is too big for hats -- so i dont wear them. When i saw him in baltimore years ago, they played for 3 hours -- nonstop. last tune of the night, "Before I Let Go". Brought the house down.....

Check the bassline on that tune.....
