Even though I've checked it out a fair few times I don't think I've ever made a post, guess I didn't feel I had anything worth saying...
Anyways, I figured I'd add a bit of info on some Japanese producers and DJs since I have a bit of knowledge on the 'Eastern scene' [note: this isn't going to be an exhaustive list by all means, I'm just going to list the people I know are active in the scene in Tokyo (I have no experience in any other cities); its simply a useful start for anyone who plans to visit (when I went I had to dig from scratch, which is LONG if you don't speak japanese very well)]

I'm probably a little biased since he's a mate of mine but, imho ENA's EASILY the most gifted producer I've encountered during my time in Japan. His beats are spot on, and his talents go wayyyy beyond the confines of dubstep and d&b. He's got some sneakily dark/twisted stuff hidden away too, so don't go thinking he's just another 'deep' guy... Keep an eye out for him
