All about the chip butty from the burger van thing outside. Never appreciated shit food so much.
That's because the food they sold was actually decent... rice and peas or jerk chicken curry? Beats a dirty kebab...

Best venue I've ever been to in all respects anyhow!
Nah wasn't on about the indoor food, that was nuts though!

My first Leeds expedition didn't have food inside, but like a tiny white van thing outside with an old couple inside shifting chips, plantain, ackee and saltfish amongst others.

NYE certainly went out in style, possibly the most enjoyable night of my life. Ive had some truely amazing times at the west indian and it will always remain in my memory.

Very sad to say goodbye but i know Subdub/Exodus DMZ will be as mind blowing as ever at vox. Exciting new things and with Simon, all the soundsystems, DJs and crowd onboard you know it simply cant fail.

Heres to the future!

Any news on a date for the next 1?

It could be last time I get to see DMZ in 6 months because im leaving the country, and there was no January DMZ at the Mass.

Think i still have the flyers and posters from the first DMZ in the backroom of transmission, think there where only 20 people in the back room, by the time it went main room a few months later it was rammed, great venue, great times, will be missed.
