well my IQ has dropped by about 20 points in the last 5 years.

Isn't it amazing what the effects of alcohol do to your brain.

really i think the acid just opened up my minds perception & it lingers longer on the little things.

logic & reason are still 100%... just slower than they used to be!

Seen some research that says rather than expanding any parts of the brain psychedelics actually turn off the parts that help give you perception of senses to begin with and larger amounts turn off deeper parts that give sense of self.

Thought it seemed to make sense, so mind expanding drugs are really just shutting down parts of the brain.
Really. Hmmm, maybe it's a good thing that something's gotten in my way every time I've wanted to try LSD...

LSD opens up the mind in the sense that you look outside the box for answers, you are no longer confined to only that which you were taught!

The deeper parts that you talk about would be, the sense that the universe revolves around you.... EGO.

The death of which, dissipates all your learned inhibitions!

....maybe, its all subjective.

I meant to say... maybe it does shut off parts of your brain, but that may open up the thought process via the removal of learned blockages.
