Never tried this, very tempting indeed. I usually end up with Jagermeister.

Rhum Agricole sounds incredible mate, would love to put a few of those away.
You can buy Appleton from the supermarket. I know Tesco and Sainsbury's both sold it when i lived in england (3 years ago)
I know Morrisons 100% do Appleton. Bought it quite a few times.
Never really mixed rum with anything other than coke though. My mate had it with apple juice before and was pretty decent, gonna give this Ginger beer a shot tonight though.

A proper dark n stormy is Goslings Black Seal, lime and ginger beer. It's called a dark and stormy because it used to be the drink of choice at some bar in Bermuda, and a captain looked at the drink and said 'This drink is the colour of the sky only a dead man or a fool would sail under.'

Black Seal is a very dark molasses-y rum, which goes well in that drink. But for a straight up rum and ginger, captain morgans will do, or Mt Gay or Appletons.

For sipping rum by itself, Flor de Cana is delish, as is Diplomatico, El Dorado, and Ron Zapaca. Rum is the bomb. This bigass ugly page will tell you all you need to know.

It's and aquried taste but it goes really well with ginger beer/ting/lilt and ice with the added benefit of getting you horribly pissed.

absolutely my favourite drink ever....

usually rock the Mount Gay and ginger beer (Cascade is a good Aussie one, that or Bundaberg ginger beer) and fresh lime (lots of).

Mount Gay XO special reserve is the bomb, but Appleton I also really like, Captain Morgan's spiced rum too, Matusalem etc. That Angostura 1919 is so damn good that I feel bad mixing it with anything - on the rocks for me 8)

Goslings Black Seal is lovely! Just finished my bottle of it, need to get more.

Was introduced to Kraken last night. Very very very good. So smooth.

Mate of mine works the bar at a Cuban rum bar in London, it is full of awesome. Easily one of my favourite spots in town.

What, they changed the recipe? I had a couple last night, still tastes pretty good, but I haven't had it for a while.
