No offense danny, but man there's a point where you gotta stop replicating sounds and start inventing some, it's probably because you shamelessly plug your tunes everywhere on here and most of us heard them when the original artists did it.

Respect for probably spending so much time working on it to just give it away, but you should let people be copycats on their own time, it really shouldn't be made easier for kids with cracked copies of FL to make shit tastic tunes that sound like everyone else. Do your part and stop handing out presets to a bunch of people who don't need them, and for everyone else, if you can produce a half decent track you should be able to knob twiddle your way to these sounds, these presets help nobody.

He hasn't. He's asked that IF you like the preset and the sound - then you stop by his stuff cos it has similar shit.

I recommend you take your tune out of your sig - as it's forcing it on people.

The tunes is in my sig so people can listen to my stuff if theyre talking to me and curious I like to listen to peoples tunes if they post something intresting nothing wrong with that.

Was purely speaking for myself, I don't really care who agrees, first of all it's a shitty sound to begin with. I just posted my thoughts on biting sounds and using presets, even if I'm generalizing a little bit, doesn't really matter because I was speaking from my point of view. While a lot of people learn from dissecting these things, the larger majority do not, and will use it exactly as it's designed to exactly the same effect. While I can appreciate the former argument, I don't think this thread is justified even on that premise because there are 647648759860988 videos and guides and more aiding in the over-saturation of these sounds WITHOUT doing all the learning, working, and tinkering for you.

Shit, even just posting a decent start that needs some work rather than a full fledged preset is better.

Threads like these actually really help me out - chewie's thread on creating a synth from noise was fucking genius - I had no idea shit like that was possible!

You should bear in mind that people who use stuff like this off the shelft, aren't really going to get noticed - so try not to get too bothered by it

Ahh fair play to everyone, I guess we all think in different ways.

I though, if I find an artist with a simiar bass sound and put the track up here, people would be like:
"DUDE Y0R COPYING UTHER ARTISTSS MAEK YOR OWN SUNDZZ!"*
Which is what usually happens.

So I used my own track.
That's not to say the sound there's not similar sounds out there, but this is what I came up with.

And I didn't copy it off a youtube vid.
