Oh, if you're a bit retarded, and you don't take the most relevant advice in this thread, the one from that nowaysj guy up there... Deadmau5 used flstudio for years. Maybe still does maybe, I don't know. Also Reaper is essentially free, might want to look at that. A truly free daw is Darkwave. It looks like a simple (oldschool) flstudio.

But really, listen to that nowaysj guy up there. I am DEAD serious.
