Tbf I generally don't care but sometimes it gets a bit too much...
There are some pieces I think would be good 'reworked' though, I also love the reggae sections that sometimes get dropped in to dnb tracks...
It makes me go from this >

That Evol Intent track is god awful.
Anywho, it's alright to add elements from one tune to another, say a sample or a riff. Don't think you'll get marked for plagiarizing unless the tunes sound nearly identical. I see the similarities but I wouldn't class it as a total copy.

i've always wondered with the screechy stuff, how can you tell? if all the screeches and drum patterns sound the same, is it stealing? or does everyone just have the exact same sound?
i'm probably just old

and this also goes to show that you can have varied tastes. i love that tune. i also love mount kimbie

I forgot that producer makes top notch breakcore
Anyway, I thought I'd just add these two:

Damn it sounds way better here! I wonder if Evol Intent are even aware of this?

Both great tunes and it would be very harsh to call it 'riff jacking' - but this thread did remind me of when I heard the new Cyrus / N-Type one and it reminded me of 'No Warning'

Similar but not the same... I suppose it's like real instruments, you only make a guitar sound like so much etc (unless you're Tom Morello out of Rage Against The Machine! He deliberately tries to create un-guitar-y sounds with his)
I think a tad more imagination would be nice but maybe we can't hear the difference because it's all subsonic!

I haven't heard Conscious on a rig to compare but 'No Warning' on Mungos @ Outlook was mind blowing!!
