i like it but i think the perc needs pushing forward in the mix, it may be the speakers but i get a bug thud for the kick (good) and then nothing in the mids, which if that's what you're aiming for is cool, but i feel like i'm missing a snare/crack/knock or something to carry the riddim and add some pace.

The vocals on this add a lot, parts of this seem like they could use a little bit of cleaning up in the mix down stage but this has a lot of potential. Great job especially since its your first for the genre

Yeah thanks for the comment, im working on the stage of cleaning up now like removing sounds that make it seem like to much is going on and taking more reverb of vocals to make them clear and less over powering! Glad you like it mate
