word! and people act strange when you tell them: MT Eden dont release vinyl, this is a stricly vinyl party.

my favorite requests:
could you play some dubstep (asked at a dubstep-party!!)
could you play a little faster (no, it´s 140bpm all night long)
do you have some Oldskool-Wobble :corndance:

Should have played some 130 and see if they thought it was faster due to the drum pattern.

Mine has been general filth and drum&bass/bashment/rock at a dubstep night.

was in the middle of playing elgato - blue when a girl came up and asked me if I had any music that was in the charts

I said I didn't because I didn't like the music in the charts

She looked at me like i had asked her to dissect and explain the theory of relativity or something

kind of flipping the thread on its head.

Whats the best request youve had? and did you play it?

What would be a tune that you'd love someone to ask you to play. I guess the better fans who know their tunes have the respect not to request tho i guess

I've honestly never really had a good request =(

I've had requests for things like borgore before and though I refuse to carry any borgore I have some remixes so at least I can satisfy them usually with something better than what they originally anticipated.

This. When I use to play out I would get this every time, then once people started liking Dubstep (because it was the new 'cool' thing) I started getting requests of Borgore, Doctor P, Mt. Eden etc.

What is wrong with the gerenal public?!

I actually got one DJ (who is on the forums and who's alias starts with an 'M') , a couple of years ago to play Pangaea's "You & I". I knew he had the plate with him, cuz I'd seen it in his record bag. (backstage massive). Perhaps he was going to play it anyway but I asked him before he took the decks, mate you gotta drop that. And lo and behold, the tune got dropped and it honestly made my evening. One tune can make all the difference.

Needless to say, this was in 2008. Good times, perhaps the best times.

so i was like
