Doesn't matter what noises you make, what matters is how you arrange the notes, I think.

Of course it's as important but you don't listen to sine waves all the time do you? You're going to want to change the envelopes at least so even then you'd get smooth and soft or fast and pumpin'!

This is a kinda crossover between robotic-dubstep and ambient-idm, if that makes any sense at all? I started making your typical transformer noise tune, but then slowly started getting out of hand until i was left with this one... idk, you said not your normal dubstep... wait till about halfway through the tune, the rhythm changes up alot there.

Timbre defines a genre more than anything else since there's only so much you can do with rhythms really.

I actually like P Money's Sweet Shop.................. when it's arranged for an orchestra!
