just set the LFO rate on the forth beat of each bar at a triplet rate. for example the lfo is 1/8 then the last beat of the bar automate it to 1/8t or 1/16t and gives a bouncy off beat feel.
the click is probs from some random attack going , play around with the number of voices or the attack ammount

If you automate the lfo rate, you will get these weird shuffly type notes sometimes when you are ending the note with either a decrease (longer) or increase (faster) in your lfo speed.

^ hey there, just to confirm what uve just said... here's something very (unintentionally) offbeat i just made for fun on a very lame drumbreak (first sounds i stumbled upon, im sorry :S ), kinda similar to what uve just said CBK81...

its nothing to write home about... but it shows CBKs point...
its basically just quantized (on the grid) synced lfo mangling... but whenever u do sudden changes at the end of a rather predictable rate, u can influence the ''feel'' of the lfo... there's litteraly dozens of ways to influence it, sometimes very subtly
might sound noobish, but i had a hard time doing that when i automated the denominator of my rates... everything sounded so timebased... what u could do to give urself more ''rate resolution'' is boosting the denominator to its highest possible value (eg 32 for massive) and mangle with the numerator instead so u have a lot more possibilities...
so what u could basically do is write something very stiff and simple, and try to influence the end of ur phrases with sudden speed changes...

the pos was on and also it sounding like it was clicking cause i but the pitch cutoff on and went way to far on it
