Once I have those 2, I tend to move onto room aesthetics.
Bong, Bud, sample drive ready to work.

I don`t do dark, it strains the eyes too much.

Ideal conditions for me are lights off, blinds closed, lots to eat, drink and smoke and that's about it.

I don't feel the need to wank over my mate's girlfriends holiday pictures so I don't really use facebook so having the internet can be a good way of giving my mind a rest for 10 mins or so.

haha, theres a distinct correlation between music production and smoking.

For some reason when I'm really tired though that's when the best musical ideas come through (this is usually 3 hours sleep from the party/gig the night before) really hard finding the energy to write though when that tired.

This seems like a good way to start my first post in the production forum.

My ideal producing condition are..

1. Dimmed lights.
2. Late at night when I should be going to work in the morning.
3. My filthy room with a weird new suspiciuos stench.
4. 2 or 3 lager
5. Turned of phone

7. Top that of with a nice jay

and its of to creativity land.

1. Coffee.
2. Cigarettes.
3. Phone off.
4. Internet off.
5. Cold room.
6. Lack of sleep in the day or night prior.
7. I'm not old enough to buy beer but when I have it, it's quite nice to open a bottle of New Castle or Guinness and get to work.
8. All this taking place during the come-down from whatever drugs I had earlier, not when I'm on them though because I often get lost in the same loop for hours.

Skins, tobacco, lighter, ashtray. The lack of internet helps (as many have said, facebook and world of warcraft are serious concentration killers.), Don't mind if anyone is in the house or not, i tend to do the most of my work on my senns anyhow. A bit of background noise is alright, aslong as people don't keep distracting you.

Its kind of a routine for me.

Always produce in the morning for some reason, probly because the house is empty until around 2pm.

Empty house is the main thing, nothing worse than your missus going ten to the dozen while you are trying to find that sweet spot in a bassline!
