Work on percussion loops - drums - new bass or synth patches, go on a sample hunt and find some new samples to use in a tune.
Basically just keep pushing - something will come sooner or later - you'll get an idea through a break or drum loop you've made, or you'll create a great patch to use on a tune and you'll be on a roll again.

well i produce 140 half time dubstep normally. so, if i'm at a block i'll go and produce something faster, or slower, or even try my hand at ambient or dnb. i find doing something different for a little while makes it easier to go back and work on the tunes i really have my heart in.
that or i watch mala interviews.

I do basically anything else at all that doesn't involve...making music.
Which is usually either some good tv shows, lots of liquor, lots of pot, rocking out to crazy shit, some solid hours of video games, friend time (usually involving one or more of the prior), or stumbleupon. Basically.

try making a style of music that you dont really like (bouncy scouse house)
when it becomes boring & monotomous, go back to what you were making before
(works for me every time)
