I don't think I've ever read such a load of fuckin shite on this forum, especially this bit... Have you even properly listened to those tunes, have you got the 12"? You are simply clueless. :u:

theyve been there from day and have put in a shit load of work.... i think that entitles them to do what they want.

simple as that.

and even if you arent feeling what theyre putting out at the moment, im sure you can find something from the last 9 years of releases that you like.

I completely agree with you, I still respect both of them but defenitely not as much as I used to.
All I can say is that they decide for themselves what they want to play and produce, but I do freakin miss tunes like Darkside Of Life, Dub Period and Blipstream...

People here act like some dubstep artists are above any sort of criticism at all, yes we know benga and skream have given a huge amount to this genre, but at the end of the day music is subjective and if fans don't like what they are playing they have a right to say so. If it wasn't for the fans in the early days skream and benga woulnt have been anywhere as successful.

Their not fucking gods, their musicians, and without some sort of constructive criticism they mightn't know what the fans want. It's when it turns into pointless hating that the problem occurs.

Criticizing is one thing. I haven't liked anything these guys do in years. But some people here act like they're entitled to Skream and Benga making certain tunes and playing certain DJ sets.

people on here make me laugh when someone posts a question as perfectly sound as the thread starter others pounce on him like hes pissed on their grans. im a fan of S & B but its my opinion (and no one can argue this as much as you might try) that since they came about there has been artists that have simply made better tunes aka KM'S, distance, DMZ, jack sparrow, silkie and on a newer tip Ben verse. Once again its my opinion, i know i wont share that with alot of you. but if you do have a problem with that fuck off n get off their dicks. I aint slating the lads cuz my collection has endless tunes of theirs in, not one i could say however is a personal.

i think its more the fact this threads been done bare since dmz 6th bday....

and for the record, i still draw for skream tracks on the regs in my sets, and a few benga ones for that matter.
definalty a few percys by them boys for me, but its all subjective innit?

This is just like the thread on skream & benga at dmz last march. Its dissapointing for a fair few people but a fair few people also love their stuff.
Have to disagree about a point made though that this forum has no influence, dubstep is a genre where dj's and fans are on the same level, you can go chat to a dj you've just seen and most are generally glad to speak to you and get feedback and talk about the genre. Dj's come on here and look at whats posted all the time as this forum has helped the genre develop whether its new tunes, mixes, events, etc. So of course it has some influence

Still respect them and pretty much always will.

But I will put it this way, I hope they are playing at the same time as another big name I want to hear at Outlook Festival. So that all the jumpup chavs are in that arena while the other arena (Mungo's presumably) is not packed out with moshing twats.
Please put them on at the same time as Digital Mystikz vs Loefah, would be a mega blessing!
