Probably gonna catch his ISAM show in Amsterdam. It's supposed be a audiovisual show, in which sound and visuals are combined in a innovative way on a three dimensional and shape-changing stage. Actually thinking of asking the missus to go with me, think she might enjoy it too. I'm pretty stoked :)

Fuck, that's the first I'd heard of that and turns out the roundhouse show is part of it too.
"The show will feature a stunning 25' x 14' x 8' multi-dimensional/shape shifting 3-D art installation surrounding Tobin and enveloping him and the audience in a beyond 3-D experience. It will be a visual onslaught - narrative, subtle and bombastic - using projection mapping, generative/audio reactive real time and pre-rendered elements combined with custom software to control the show. The visual elements will be synched to Tobin's music to make a large scale next level HD experience."

Even more excited now.

Has anyone taken a listen to the Chaos Theory 3D Remix cd?
It has some very interesting remixes done by Daedelus, Eskimo, Lorn, Qemists, King Koala and Kid Cannibal.
I`m particularly liking - The Clean Up - (Lorn Remix)

Some of the other tracks seem to be great but others are remixes with a couple extra sounds thrown over the top.
Not what I was expecting from some of the names mentioned but as I`ve mentioned, loving the Lorn Remixes.

A good remix cd overall I`d say.
I am a huge fan of chaos theory though either way.

Also I don't like listening to this album, makes me feel like a stupid kid in his bedroom that doesn't know what the hell he is doing :(

Edit: But that worked for Aphex Twin :D

Picked this up a couple days ago. Obviously not the most accessible thing, but very enjoyable. Wooden toy stands out for me, although I've only listened to the album a couple times so far.

I`ve only listened a few times but it hasn`t stuck to me like the past albumns.
Chaos Theory still stands out head above the rest.

I get the idea that he is doing a lot of bass resampling work on this albumn.
It doesn`t flow as well as the past albumns.
Almost able to distinguish individual tracks rather than a mish mash of sound.
I had moments of "oh no, that sounded brostep"

Still great design work but it hasn`t hit the mark for me.
