Fair play to Loefah and everyone who's connecting so much with the sound, its just not my thing at all.
You're not alone. Haven't bought a single 12". Feel like it's all Fruity loops basics sounds with just 808's everywhere.

Right. I didn't say that IT IS fl. I said it's sounds like it.
And there is nothing wrong with Fruity, just not a fan of the 808 sounds, high hats and claps that are being used.

Loefahs playing down here in brighton on friday at AKA AKA ROAR!
LOEFAH, UNTOLD, JAM CITY, JOE + DAGGER DJs @ AKA AKA ROAR!
A little known piece of trivia about AKA AKA ROAR! is that we are in fact raging Royalists. We simply can't get enough of Britain's incestuous first family. So you can imagine our excitement when we realised that the next AKA AKA ROAR! falls on the very same day as the Holy matrimony between that uber posh girl and the boring Prince that didn't get caught smoking weed or was pictured dressed up as a izan. Now that last bit may... or may not be 100% true, but what certainly is true is that to help you celebrate that momentous (or potentially hideous...) day we have put together a lineup of such musical intesity that when conceived brought a collective tear to the eye of all involved...

Used to rate him as one of my favourite producers/dj's in dubstep... Now he makes & plays terrible music.
Shame

Swamp stuff is pretty cool
Like his older style more though
but I dunno, just feel his dj sets are pretty repetitive now.

Mud, Ruffage, Root and Goat Stare are the four best tunes in the history of dubstep. That being said I love the new direction, and he did phase it in. The mix he did for the autonomic rinse show January last year had footcrab, dumbshit, glut etc but it also had eyez, the fifth etc and he did his next few mixes like this but slowly dropped off the half step tunes. The Swamp81 show on Rinse and the tunes Loefah is currently pushing make me happy. Big up Loefah
