That's not experimenting in dubstep. That's just a normal dubstep tune structure with different samples being used for the drums. Nothing groundbreaking.

My sig has reversed stuffs, so does my soundcloud.
Gonna drop a freebie in the next few hours, it's not really anything, it's 170 bpm, but not drum & bass or drumstep. Kinda ambient. I'll post it in this thread when I can be bothered to upload

I'm working on a short film and soundtrack
the soundtrack will be a weird amalgamation of sounds influenced by brian eno / bill laswell / phillip glass / amon tobin
the visuals will be some live footage and some computer generated stuff
there will be a subtle plot, but no overt storytelling.. just kinda sublime hints here and there for what the protagonist is up against
should be done in a few months but I'll update you in this thread when I have some clips ready

Thats called autonomal man! You might wnana check out Vaccine/Scuba/some of Youngsta's more recent sets, the fascination with minimal/autonomal dnb is coming back to people, Ive heard alot of it going around lately, you could probably find some serious influence... But, when I said reversed, I didnt mean just a few reversed sounds here n there, it was a joke, but I would have meant fully backwards tunes lol...

sure thing man
don't let this place (and dubstep in general) get you down
I have seen so many sounds / generes come and go but the beat is constant and it never stops
I think there are a few douchebags in the prod forum that really ruin it for others
but please keep making music, if it still makes you happy.
but anyhow, I'll keep you posted, whether it's on here ir on AIM

@Basic A
That's just my style of liquid funk tbh. dunno If it's really what those fellas go for, and well, I just responded to the thread title in general tbh
Bud did you mean tunes like Rockwell's "Reversed Engineering"? That's some pretty intricate, experimental shit haha
My tune yukimi nagano is essentially a reverse edit of little dragon "Twice"

Should I actually post my own tunes in my own thread, or would that make me seem like a dick?
