^ Nice!

Here's another generative music plug inspired by Otomata that does have MIDI out, and it's a little deeper in terms of controls:

ToneCarver's Nova3

These videos almost don't do it justice because you can get amazing stuff much more quickly than what you're seeing here.

Please note that I initially hesitated to share this with you fucks because I wanted to keep the pretty pretty moozik all to myself, but... :6:

How bad is it when I don't even see I'm reposting from within the same thread?!

It has nothing to do with my age or THC consumption either, so shaddup. :dunce:

Have you setup nova on a seperate channel to your vst instrument?
Setup one channel for nova.
Setup another channel for your synth.
Nova 3 as the send and receive on the synth channel.

Whack some azian strings on the vst and let the rovers play.
It`s an inspirational vst.
I use it a lot now to add stabs that vary every bar.

I had to install a MIDI loopback driver to get a similar plug to work the first time...

...install this, and then it shows up as a midi device which you then just enable as a midi input. Hope that helps.

That shouldn't be necessary in flstudio.

It works perfectly in Reaper.
Setup nova midi channel as the send
synth as a receive on a new channel
add rover to hear sound

Here`s a little exercise in creating a Nova 3 chain with Tonecarver's new Harmony Rotator adding harmonics and Chordspace adding additional notes and an arp based on the circle of fifths.
All on the same channel, nova 3 with 2 rovers controlling everything except drums.

Soundcloud

It`s an awesome tool when you get it to work for you.
