i've only seen Sgt Pokes live but I loved him. big charisma, he almost didn't talk in Mala's mix but his presence was pure enjoyment in the place. i instantly fell in love with those two family guys although I am straight haha :)

only heard Crazy D on the radio and I didn't really get that "woah woah woaaaah" thing, it was quite annoying actually. but I appreciate the fact he doesn't ruin the tracks all the way. and I believe he's a lot of positive energy when MCing live on the stage.
3 things I miss most from the UK... swede, cider and the music scene!

I'm gonna add Sun Of Selah to the list. He was unreal at our night on Thursday. Really added to the atmosphere.

yeah man big up to my boy Koast...doing big things in Bristol right now...

Sgt. Pokes is by far the best mc/host in dubstep IMO...

Nomad is cool too...

i prefer sets with no mc at all though tbh...

i don't mind hearing tracks with an mc on it like Flow Dan, Badness, Killa P, Riko etc...but the only guy i'm really happy hearing in a dance is Pokes...

I see Pokes as more of a comedian.

yeah he is naturally funny...

and yeah he don't really spit lyrics he just hosts the night and keeps the vibes rolling...you are just skanking out in the dark to some deepness from Mala and then you hear a funny line from Pokes...makes you smile or laugh and carry on moving to the sounds...all i want from a mic man at a dubstep night though...

it is when mcs start to take over and become the main focal point that scenes begin to die...because it becomes all about image and fronting and the music takes a back seat...it has happened so many times before...

With dubstep, MCs take a different approach.

For me, it has to be Mr Pokes. Like dubstep, he is different.

Too many funny quotes for the man.
