yeah no one i work with can see my facebook wall posts. not that i ever talk shit about my company on there... worst that could happen is they don't like my musical taste.

If it's any consolation, loads of people have posted shit about their work and have been fired.

Lesson: don't post derogatory shit on the internet because it will bite you in the ass. It's a fucking open book.

Employers are indeed looking at your facebook and anything else they can find on the internet. And people are still posting and twittering things like "I just left home to go shopping" and "My manager's an asshole" and then they are wondering why they got robbed and fired.

exact reason why my name on facebook isn't my real name and that you can't view my profile AND i don't have anyone on facebook from work that i don't trust... too easy to slip up.

been fired a couple of times myself, just shrug it off and get a new job. Make some sick riddims with your time off.. and don't put them on your CV, just fake it

I didn't get fired for taking off without permission for like 5 days (i had submitted my leave form but they had lost it and didn't tell me) - deputy manager said I was fired so i told him go fuck himself and continued on the tour.

Got back and found out he hadn't gotten permission from the general manager to fire me, said i had suffered mental stress from thinking i had been fired and they gave me my job back but i said i felt uncomfortable working with someone who so obviously didn't like me and got paid out 4 weeks and got a good reference :win:

If they fire you, tell that catty supervisor chick that you accidentally defriended her. Get her to accept your friend request, post up one of her pics here in the snho, let the photoshop masters have at her, and then post up and tag her pics in compromising positions with alpacas and whatnot.
