Comparison chart made me lol nearly as much as the 4 octave keyboard
You can understand that the tiny, mini-keyboards that come standard with most hip hop software can cause endless frustration. Especially when you are working on a melody that sweeps from high notes to low notes. Dub Turbo ’s 4 octave keyboard solves all of that

"YOUR FRIENDS WILL BE GREEN WITH ENVY AS YOU START IMPRESSING EVERYONE WITH YOUR BEAT MAKING TALENT AND MUSIC PRODUCTION SKILLS! Chicks? No Sweat!"
"So -- - - -- No studio? No skills? NO PROBLEM!!!!"
""I've made 83 beats, in like 2 weeks!"
Fuck, so I've been doing it all wrong! I could be getting chicks, by making 83 beats every two weeks with no studio and no skills!

there was another thread about this. Honestly if I had been smarter with my money in the beginning I would have given Reaper a bigger chance. That would be my recommendation.

get Reaper. its only about $70
you get a month free trial(the full version), so that will give you some time to save up.
Has mostly everything you need, just download some free plugins and you'll be all set!

So if I am reading this correctly reaper is now only $40. Which is kind of blowing my mind.
http://reaper.fm/
EDIT: the $40 is temporary until reaper 4 comes out, then it goes back up to $60. I'd totally grab that over turbo whatever in a second. Reaper is wonderful.

I don't know what a dubturbo is but I do know that I've made my best music on nanoloop.

damn man that post goes beyond the boundaries of dsf. i looked into this dubturbo and thought this was a joke at first but it's serious. and i watched a tutorial vid well at least the first minute and the drum packs aren't that bad, I would definitely torrent it just to get them.

So he just caged the graphics and reviews from the actual dubturbo site? lol. also the midi keyboard doesnt need to go to the mixer and everything is m-audio?
"Fact: Dubturbo has put money in my pocket. I could go on but feel like I should stop right here. I use DubTurbo everyday and couldn’t imagine doing a project without it. I would recommend it to anyone that is serious about creating great music and making a name for themselves. "

when i first heard of dubturbo, my expectations were even worse than what it actually is. I expected it to be something like SonicProducer.com (dont buy that either)
Dubturbo still is a bad idea. It's like an infant compared to other DAW's. Even LMMS is more capable...and LMMS is a pain the you-know-what to work with

REAPER,REASON,CUBASE,FRUITY LOOPS.
any of those will get you wobbling like a drunk sailor in no time.

I don't know if this is a serious post anymore after I read this;

Now I don't know if this is just a troll trying to make fun of dubturbo and get a response from people, or someone really being serious. If it's serious, and you only had 30 to spend, then save 10 more and buy reaper for 40. Then start watching tutorials on how to use reaper as you won't be producing anything until you at least know how the program works.

The fuck?
Good read.
Also, when you try to close it, click cancel and another page comes up, which is also funny. 'DON'T WASTE YOUR TALENT!'
