there was another thread about this. Honestly if I had been smarter with my money in the beginning I would have given Reaper a bigger chance. That would be my recommendation.

you get a month free trial(the full version), so that will give you some time to save up.

EDIT: the $40 is temporary until reaper 4 comes out, then it goes back up to $60. I'd totally grab that over turbo whatever in a second. Reaper is wonderful.

damn man that post goes beyond the boundaries of dsf. i looked into this dubturbo and thought this was a joke at first but it's serious. and i watched a tutorial vid well at least the first minute and the drum packs aren't that bad, I would definitely torrent it just to get them.

when i first heard of dubturbo, my expectations were even worse than what it actually is. I expected it to be something like SonicProducer.com (dont buy that either)

Dubturbo still is a bad idea. It's like an infant compared to other DAW's. Even LMMS is more capable...and LMMS is a pain the you-know-what to work with

i am all about free will and choice, but if you purchase this program im going to have to hunt you down and kick you in the balls.

If it's serious, and you only had 30 to spend, then save 10 more and buy reaper for 40. Then start watching tutorials on how to use reaper as you won't be producing anything until you at least know how the program works.
