i pay $40 extra for an unlimited text and data package. if you don't have a set plan, texts are 10 cent per.

i remember reading a forum about iphone contracts and costs comparing it between providers. i couldnt understand any of the american plans, they have so many things on them like off peak minutes and data and shite like that, in the uk it is just voice minutes, number of texts and mb of data for a basic plan.

are you saying you can get a contract phone without plans for texts etc? i can understand why you would get that if you literally never text anyone, but i dont think any providers here offer a contract with no text plan at all.
