I think the real downfall will be when this text swipe technology rolls out. Then instead of spelling anything you just have to memorise a pattern of swipes for each word (because that is essentially what it is), you dont even need to know how to spell shit!

Thats the problem though. As I am out of practice from spelling on a regular basis the occasion that spell check does not recognize the mess Im trying to type... Im screwed.

and probably some other words can give me a bit of trouble. Whenever I'm writing something down, I'll pass right over them thinking they're spelled correctly even though they aren't.

I use firefox and also have a spell checker add-on for that
