Kromestar definetly has his own style, gotta be in my top 5 producers list.

Listen to Rainy Dayz, that tune is sweet!!
"The bass has to be on my chest, and the snare needs to smack me around the face!"

me, better listening to his tunes :D

kromestar's defenitely on my top 10, ghostship is on of my favs.. but theres some dubsteppers first.
Suddenly, there was a terrible roar all around us, and the sky was full with what looked like huge bats, all swooping and screeching and diving around the car, and a voice was screaming:
Holy Jesus. What are these goddamn animals?

kromie is sick. end of story. lord he got a whole box of dancefloor killers. and he makes like 50 new tunes / week.
on a quest react fm show when krome drops a track titled "Motions" ... the time stops , so damn nice.

I don't rate him that highly tbh, plenty of people better than him in my book. His dubstep tunes sound like wannabe Coki far too often, and he's releasing so many of them these days..

Still some gems in there though. Kromestar - Iron Dread, Droid - Cyberman and Iron Soul - Don't Do It are all among my fav unreleased tunes.

true wiz... he churns em out like it's breathing. it's fun lending him CDs to sample from to see wat he comes up with, EXCEPT HE DOESN'T GET ROUND TO GIVING BACK YOUR RAGGA JUNGLE ANTHEMS VOL 2 AND THEN HE LOSES IT.

U know! I've been listening to this back 2 back with three other mixes for a few weeks now! Del, well done for sticking up, too much undirected/undeserved criticism in this thread!

i have to stick up for him... i would put me listening to dubstep now down to iron, pretty much single handed. not cos he pushed it on me, just cos he was around so much that in the end i got curious lol.

To be honest I ain't heard load of his new stuff and a lot of people are saying big things. There was a large Kromestar tune on Allstars 4 (I know there were a few, but this was sick) and Kalawanji and some other tune I heard on radio, but didn't catch the name of. I still haven't heard this 4x4 cut of Kalawanji.

Darth is a massive tune! Some of Kromey's bits are off the scale but there are a few bits I don't rate that much as well. If I weighed em up together though he'd come out on top for sure. Wanna see more of his vocal tunes gettin released (white label if needed)

wow, reactions are kinda harsh.

oh well. "here we come" and "path of jah" tip the balance in his favor anyway.

I like Zion dub from this release, but Ben it is only 1 nice tune of 4, this is not qualitative characteristic . This reminds me dnb 12" with A side -big tune and B side - average or even crap.

if you check the last year's dubstep releases allmost all of them had brilliant tunes on both sides.

I am not getting the idea of releasing worthless Kromestar's shit in such big amounts.

I wish I could help to release ASE's stuff with such persistence.

this is just my IMHO :)

maybe he's not the biggest innovator but he definitely got his very own style and he's one of my favorite producers.
the whole ghostship EP is killer, shokwave is also nice (esp. aggravation)... and yeh, darth soul is KILLER. this tune is so up-the-bracket, i just love it.

oh yeah, a question, may it be that darth soul and bloodclart are 2 titles for the same tune?

i've seen different versions of the dubstep allstars vol5 tracklisting with either 'darthsoul' or 'bloodclart' for track 11... so i was wondering that too.

i enjoy even his 'not as strong tunes' .. i pass over grips of artists just because i know what i like.. if i come up on a kromestar album, i add it to the basket without thought, because hes consistent in weight and he doesnt re-produce the same track over and over.

hes on my topshelf list easy.
