a couple of weeks ago a friend of mine had a houseparty to celebrate her birthday and some of her kicks got stolen, these are custom gold nike dunks, real one offs and totally recognisable.
she woke up the next day realised they were gone and put a few posts up on facebook, everyone with the same "dont worry katie, no one will be able to get away with wearing them theyre so distinctive, you'll get them back" etc etc etc. 2 days later someone sets up a facebook account and sends her a message apologising and giving it the whole "i was drunk, i dont know what i did, i'm sorry..." and then sends them back round to her next day delivery, no return address.

love the power of facebook when it does stuff like this. but then at the same time id loved the girl who robbed them to have not seen the messages and gone out in them only to have a load of people clock the trainers and give her shit. theres a pretty good idea who stole them, just no proof unfortunately.

Genuinely shocked the thread has got this far in SNH without someone saying how we just don't understand the person's culture and the reasons for stealing it, and who are we to judge?

Big up though, what sort of tnuc steals from house parties.

don't mean to be a dick or anything but didn't we at one point have a thread full of people bragging about shit they had stolen? ok so maybe it was mostly jokes pointless shit and hasn't got the same sentimentality as a record collection does but still stealing is stealing. Just like rape is rape, don't matter if she was drunk, underage or gagging for it untill you put it in her arse without asking.

bullshit. i steal with passion from big supermarkets. i save up to 100 bucks a month and i don't give a fuck tbh.

but on the other hand i do not steal anything of a person or a shop that obviously isn't the biggest fucking global leader.
stealing records is fucked up.

Sucks to hear that, at least someone decent who wants to return them has them in their possession.

Mate of mine had his bag taken straight from his car in his drive way. Only person who could of taken it is someone close. Still not found either.
