I've just been trying to find the thread where it came up. I knew that was a meme in the making, If only the search thing was even slightly useful.danrev wrote:rusko was never as shit as people went on.

Don't know too much about drums, but he's probably using triggers.therapist wrote:Firstly, where can I buy a snare drum that sounds like that? I've got a drum kit, but my snare sounds all weird and real, almost like it's made of wood.

No, maybe I'm just stupid?
I don't know what part of my post your talking about, but the first question was legitimate and that's what triggers do. You can change the sound of the drum, usually the kick, and the sound is the same every time you hit it, which means fatigue, or just hitting harder or softer, doesn't affect the outcome of the final product. Search up My Bitter End - To All Things Expendable if you wanna hear triggers. You CAN get triggers for your snare if you wanted to, so no, I wasn't trolling :p

this tune is really breaking barriers down in dub... the drop is at 49 sec instead of 54 sec... revolutionary

He should get some of these.

He'd look even cooler, as opposed to totally fucking lame.
