I've just been trying to find the thread where it came up. I knew that was a meme in the making, If only the search thing was even slightly useful.

all i remember is it was some shite song making fun of skrillex and doctor p, and a youtube comment was posted saying dub in its purest form. then followed a meme with skrillex and korn in a fire saying dub in its purest form, i thought i had the picture. but its lost.

I don't know what part of my post your talking about, but the first question was legitimate and that's what triggers do. You can change the sound of the drum, usually the kick, and the sound is the same every time you hit it, which means fatigue, or just hitting harder or softer, doesn't affect the outcome of the final product. Search up My Bitter End - To All Things Expendable if you wanna hear triggers. You CAN get triggers for your snare if you wanted to, so no, I wasn't trolling :p
