imo this is far better than looking at the waveform, which really tells you nothing except what frequencies are being hit. And really, that means shit all if you're not listening.
Idunno bout you, but I'd like to know more about my sound than what it sounds like. I like to know how my sound works.
If it's really that important - it's called a spectrum analyzer.
good point, I'm still not satisfied, though. thats just me.
an oscilloscope plugin will show you the waveform mate. i know what you mean about seeing what the waves doing, it helps understand the sound better.

and to the OP, dear god, read the manual, use google, etc. i don't get why you'd post a question like this unless your trolling, theres probably only a few million links on the web with tutorials on massive...

stevie wonder and ray charles ain't never seen a damn waveform. That's pure silliness. Relatively new development to be able to look at a wave when you microsample, set loop points, edit samples. Now it's a dealbreaker with a synth if it won't show you its insides on a first date?

utter silliness. good thing most people don't let that stand in the way of making sounds with it.

Albino shows you waveforms, on the first date.

True, and that is a cool feature, but... this:

made me fall over laughing.
How it works is what it does to your eardrums/brain, AKA what it sounds like.
If you ever made a decision based on which wave looked prettier, rather than which one sounded better, in Albino, for instance.... maybe you shouldn't have that feature....

This is how all my sounds are made, forever.

Lol! Hybrid just like massive.

U-he Ace has a nice spectrograph which is useful to see what your doing (fm synthesis) but i wouldnt prefer it over my ears.

(btw :trolling: )

I have always liked albino from testing the demo.

And as far as massive, I'll respect anyone's decision whether to like or not like it. But my decision is that I don't like it. I like to have a sense of how my sound was built and what I am doing to it or else I won't feel like its really my sound...

jrisreal wrote:for wobble automation, route your audio to filter 1 and set it to lowpass, either lowpass 2 or lowpass 4, you decide. Then on the cutoff knob, drag LFO number thing in the tab up into one of the dark squares under the cutoff knob. Now click and drag that dark square which should now have a number in it untill a circular line surrounds the cutoff knob. Now edit the LFO settings and you will have wobble.

And I'm sorry if my instructions are wrong, I am not a massive user and never have been. I've tried the demo before and I am recalling this information from then.
Hey. Offtopic, but how do you get your Soundcloud player a different colour?

@WereWolf add this code to the end of the SC url:

&theme_color=444466&color=000000

you can change the colors with using the numbers
