Hey,

One other way to look at this (I used to do it this way but now it's drum buss ftmfw):

1) Create the automation you want for one instrument
2) Right click the next parameter you want to control and select link to controller
3) Select the automation clip you created in step 1 under the internal controller drop down
4) Tailor the the mapping formula to taste (eg. input*.5 to make it half the volume)
5) Repeat 2-4 for the rest of the kit

Now you have one clip that controls the whole kit

But like I said, DRUM BUSS FTMFW

The preset is set up so that each pad will have it's own mixer track. So link the drum channel to track one. and all the pads will be hooked up for you, then you can route all the drums from their individual tracks to the "drum-bus" for automation, filtering and any final drum effect work.
Woah, this sounds like this could work. I just finished routing all the drum sounds to seperate mixers, and I'm surprised how small FL mixers are, only 14 channels? What if you're making a huge song?

But with this FPC thing, I don't quite understand
FPC does the routing for you basically. All you then have to do is send them back to the inital FPC track for the automations you originally asked to make.

there's actually 99 channels, 4 sends, and a master channel.

I really am dumb. So I put all the drum sounds I used into the mixer, I then linked all of them to one channel. I don't know where to go from there. (For the drum bus, as of the FPC I haven't attempted that yet)

Brilliantly overwhelming.

if your in FL 10, on that drum bus load a patcher. Have one yellow line going straight from the "from FL" straight the output. then make another line from the "from FL" and put those drums through a compressor and compress the hell out of them, then put that to that ouput at about 25-50%. You have now parallel compressed your drums. :W:
