Haven't had a job for awhile myself but lots to do (surf, read, write, walk, relax, chat, explore)
eventually I'll run out of dosh & have to become a slave again.
If I wasn't somewhat apathetic,
in the sense that work & money are a means to an end,
I s'pose I'd start up my own business but that seems too concentrated an effort...
I've been employed in just about every other way possible, so I may eventually do it just out of interest.

What can you do signals that'll get you gainfully employed?
Are you a shit-kicker or have you got some qualifications/
What do you ideally want to do for a crust?

English didn't adapt the Greek word like some other languages so it seems.
Pathetic would be feeling strongly about something and apathetic obviously the opposite, but
this isn't the case in the English adaptation.
Or am I way off track here.

in current usage pathetic & apathetic are not antonyms:
apathetic means non-caring or not involved, particularly emotionally
pathetic means being considered inadequate or worthless
e.g. That pathetic man! He's pissed, vomited on himself, ranting at passing strangers and seems to have lost his trousers.

sympathetic & empathetic are more like antonyms to apathetic
because they both involve emotionally sharing/caring for/identifying with
another person's situation/plight/state of existence/feelings.

i play this game called, late for work, where you pick a place across town (your job) and pick a set amount of time to get to it (has to be cutting it close to make it interseting)

you have to follow all the laws and traffic signals, until you either make it to work on time

or

make it to work late (ends in killing everyone at your "job")

or

get sidetracked and lost in a devastating bit of road rage
