Does Joker qualify as brostep? -q- I feel like he doesn't, so instead I give you this:

actually, I don't know if thats brostep either :|

I always really liked "Jehovas Project" too.. Baddass samples. "Swagga" and Datsik's "Boombox" remix kill it dead, too.

That tune literally made me feel physically sick... I guess if anything it deserves recognition for being the only tune that's ever done that to me.

...then again I did just eat a lemon tart

I agree Fistfucker is a bit tongue-in-cheek but it's not a complete joke. I think it's a great song because of how complex the modulation is. You can tell that Level 67 spent a ton of time with the synthesis/sound design to get something that in some ways sounds like a typical filthstep bass, and in some ways sounds completely alien, like nothing I've ever heard before. But yeah, it's not for everybody. Now that I think about it I wouldn't really call it brostep. I can't really imagine your typical Doctor P fan enjoying it...

Are you kidding me? That's one of the most complex and intricately modulated sounds I've ever heard, and I'm a fan of all sorts of complex/experimental electronic whether it be dubstep, neurofunk, psychill or IDM. I bet you if Tipper decided to make a filthy dubstep track, that's what it would sound like.

Ever listened to Shackleton or Scarecrow? You must have, because you just described their work.

That Koan sound tune is wicked, one of the few tearout producers I really like.

Does the 16 Bit Noisia remix count?

tune is deep as anything loefah ever made you just need to hear it on something other than laptop speakers

tunnidge plays this out and mixes it into swish and it always goes off!

and yeah the modulation is unreal and clearly the work of a scientist of sound
