why is everyone hating on caspa and rusko? isnt caspa the head of dub police?






rusko's got all my respect after that, i love his tunes and i think hes joker (in a fun way, ''good'' way)

I had to check the date on this thread to make sure it wasn't bumped from a few years back.

People aren't hating on Caspa and Rusko these days because no one even bothers to talk about them any more. There are bigger dicks to hate on now, get with the times.

People like to latch on to a scapegoat for the demise of their genre. I personally think dubstep has gone downhill a lot since 2008, and with the rise of loads of clean, polished producers such a Skrillex and countless others, it's all to easy to blame the biggest names in the scene - when really, they should be blaming the weak, uncreative copycats and scenesters.

If you hate the music coming out today, hate the producers who produce it, not the pioneers.

That been said, I've never particularly like either Caspa or Rusko so for me it's a close ended response. However it is funny how people who loved Rusko etc 2 years ago now hate them.

Put simply, people are fickle.

EDIT: I should probably stress I've never enjoyed them in a production sense, but as DJ's they're pretty fucking good. I saw Caspa at a Hospitality Bristol event and his hour of dubstep in the middle of a liquid drum and bass event was fookin immense. Continue...
