So Bandcamp take 30pc-what if it's free, nothing I assume-is it possible to host an album on their for free?
I think it should be tunes that people are planning to give away for free anyway... if the costs are low then there's no point in really profiteering if the're planning on giving it free (or could be persuaded to :6 )

we should make a flac option as well, but yeah in principle im in and given nothings actually out yet it would be good for me to tell people where to get a tune and good for the comp as well, my ep drops lat oct early november so if we beat that it would be good, ill mention it in a feature ill be doing on a blog as well

I wouldn't mind getting involved. I also think that it may be unnecessary to go through the process of actually "Releasing" it. We could easily stick it on bandcamp, or better yet, mediafire...
As a process of selection, I think we could round up all the tunes, then put them up anonymously, and users can vote for what they're into?

Got a track that could probably go on this. Its been played on Rinse, MOS radio and few other places. Just need to check its ok with somebody and will let you know. Only a few people have it atm.

i like that idea, and the idea of the album having a theme. give everyone to get inspiration from

can we not limit this to dubstep? I've never written a proper dubstep song in my life and don't think i ever will...
got some other tunes and stuff to work with, or can write something new if we do the theme thing, someone needs to step up and name a theme because if I pick it it'll be something really stupid

Yeah this. Maybe a more "bass music" catchment group?
I'd wait to see how many submissions we really end up with before worrying about quality control, in my limited experience it's actually a lot fewer tunes end up getting submitted than you'd think! It should be a fun SNH exercise at heart... if it turns into a jewel it turns into a jewel... if it turns out there are 50 tunes to choose from *then* start to worry about qc!

I would like to be able to contribute to this but probably do not have the abilities in any of the areas required . However I would argue that it should be a free distribution thing. ALso all titles should be snh themed
