My english teacher gave me a weird look when I mentioned that as the musical instrument I played. Like the wtf stare. I had to give her the 'wiki wiki' dj motion to confirm what i meant.

yeah Volks is sick, probably my favourite club to DJ in as well, the manager knows his stuff, and they have an Allen & Heath mixer
Ha yeah I've used that mixer, played Volks a couple of times...although I'm a Pioneer fan personally

Soundguy is decent, decks have always been set up right.
Agreed that it's not really about room 2 and it's slippy-slidey-spilt-drinks-on-tiled-floor! When the main room is going off on a good night it's cracking upstairs though.
My personal fav at the moment is Concorde cos there's always a bloke and his missus at the front selling balloons right in front of security somehow not getting shut down! What a madness

Life is the one for me. Sound can be a bit funny at time, but they constantly amaze me with the bookings.
Just go to some record stores and look for fliers and posters. Facebook is very useful for keeping up though...I'd miss a lot without it [/idiot]
But yeah...
Volks
Audio
Digital
Life
The Tube
Concorde 2
Main ones to look out for I'd say.
Brighton is awesome.

...deep in your chest...

Definitely this. Reckon I'm going to maybe one or two of the Freshers nights for the cheap drinks, but not all of them.
Are you just starting this year as well?
