Next year I'll probably book a hotel with all of my friends. The campsite was just too big of a mess for me to do it again next year. Shit covered all over the toilets/showers isn't exactly my cup of tea. Not to mention the waiting lines if you wanted to take a shower/crap. I'm not going by car again either, the 16 hour drive is only fun one time.

Besides that I can only advice to bring shitloads of cash in advance. Do not rely on the cash machines at the campsite. It's even faster if you walk to the nearest village to get your cash than waiting in line.
Also, do not buy croatian herbs, it's the nastiest disgusting shit I've ever had, and not worth your precious kuna's. Be careful what you eat there, 2 of my friends suffered from food poisoning due to bad burgers/pizza. Bring good shoes, as it's quite a rocky landscape you need to navigate through to get from one stage to the other and bring something to cover your mouth/nose from all the dust flying around.

Make sure you do at least one boat party! Highlights of the festival for sure! Don't be afraid to socialize with the different producers/dj's roaming the festival site. They don't bite. :)
But most of all, enjoy the music! If only there were ways to clone ourselves so we didn't need to make these heartbreaking choices of what to skip and what to see.

Hotel. They're dirt cheap anyway + you can go and get your food and liquor at a local shop if you want to hang out (or even bring it to the fest meh), go swim where it's more relaxed in the morning, or even night, plenty of good restaurants in Fazana and I believe Stinjan too (Pula no idea).

I'd advice Fazana btw, a bit further but man, gorgeous as hell to stay there and if you can eat at a restaurant for 5 quid...

it's just near the festival...fuck 6am buses back to apartment..a good old stumble home as the sun comes up....i wouldn't reccommend staying in stinjan unless you've been outlook before and know exactly what to take...no matter how many threads, everyone always end up forgetting something important and mooching to get a replacement

yep...my post even hints to you that I do the same thing as you, although i have a couple friends that are glad to come after taking them to dmz..but yeah, usually a solo ting, fwd's anniversary i was :i: without a care in the world i was by myself...but you really can't do that with festivals. Unless someone here has a good story to tell stating otherwise? :)

A hell of a lot cheaper than having it in the UK no? Maybe not the travel there and back for people from the UK.

Not much more expensive than the cost of glasto for me...and definately worth the extra £2-300
