Yeah, just looked at a couple videos... Sure looks like its a lot better than Borderlands. Might check it out sometime, but I'm pretty broke right now and waiting for Skyrim

fair play. It is pretty annoying and stupid that all the game publishers decide to release there games at the same time. Doesn't seem like good marketing at all.

Looks like Fallout 3 with a lot less role playing elements and a more linear mission structure.

Got this today, and to be honest I'm very disappointed with it. Graphics are ridiculously buggy, constantly getting tearing and the video settings menu is a joke, and this is after I installed the driver update AMD released specifically for Rage (it wouldn't even run before that). Hopefully this will get patched soon, as from what I can tell the actual gameplay is very good (although so far more linear than I would have liked). Bear in mind I'm talking about the PC version here, as this is an obvious console port, and from what I can tell the graphics issues that PC gamers are suffering from shouldn't affect the console editions.

i played it last night and had no issues. But then again I have a borderline super computer.

It's an LOD problem. Hopefully they're offer an update with an LOD slider

AMD and ATI cards have problems with this game.

Just got it earlier, been running smooth on the 360...
pretty impressed so far

The game now crashes whenever I load into a new area

I think this game has been named after the emotion that PC gamers feel when trying to play this... (barring those who own super computers)

Although after it did that a couple of times, I tried one of the fixes and I no longer get screen tears...


EDIT: I now get artificing problems on basically anyone I talk to

Your gpu is probably not an Nvidia, Nvidia is absolutely vital in life.

Got an absolute woody for the concept behind Borderlands, but it turned out to be a big piece of shite, so this could be the knight in shining armour.

I love watching the Yogscast play this. Not going to buy it tho (unless they fix the underpowered guns and I can find it in a discount bin). Wingsticks look like fun

Gosh this game is just wonderful The more I play it the more I enjoy.. the characters and environments are so impressive.

i bought rage and gow3 ive played a little bit of them and i like them

What a game! I'm about 11 hours in. Changed discs after about 10 hours. Fucking class, really enjoying it apart from the hardest thing I have maybe ever come across in a game which is that fucking five finger fillet game. The final round is ridiculously hard and makes me RAGE LIKE FUCK ....maybe that's why they called it rage.

They released a patch that so far seems to have fixed most of the problems I was having, although I get the occasional texture pop. I know that a lot of people go on about how "graphics don't make a game", and for the most part I would agree with them. I think, however that if the graphics for Rage don't get fully patched then it could spoil what is otherwise an excellent game.

Also other than the glitches the game is fucking BEAUTIFUL, not to mention it runs better (at least for me) than any other next gen game.
