yeah i agree with everyone else in this thread, this documentary is absolutely fucking shite, and you dont have a clue what dubstep is, i like dubstep, but never, ever at a night will i scream i love dubstep, thats just gay.

made me laugh, that's what american dubstep has come too:
at first they're like omg i like don't know what a dubstep is?!
the end of the night they're screaming "we love dupstepppppp" and getting mad because he wasn't taking a picture - no facebook fame.

I think the sadest part of the video is the music playing in the background, its so depressing and its not DUBSTEP how can you make a documentary teaser and not even feature the music. Blows my mind.

it's not just in america this is happening though. go to most nights here and you'll find people like that, just obviously less american.

I am going to respond to all of your comments with this: Sure, I might like brostep and heavy bass, but I know what real dubstep is and I enjoy it very much. I HAVE done my research and the thing that intrigues me the most about this genre of music is the subcultures that are sprouting out of it. I find it fascinating that these people can [effectively] co-exist with people like you. Unfortunately these people are placed under the same umbrella as you, and its artists like Skrillex who are giving the genre a new (and arguably) worse name, especially in America. My job as an OBSERVER is to watch and listen - not take sides. If you read my post, its a preliminary shoot about how the genre effects people differently - NOT that this is what the entire dubstep doc is about. I posted this on here because I KNEW this was going to be the response, not because I thought you were going to like it. I enjoy understanding and witnessing both sides of something... this is just aide A.

When do we get to see side B doc? In fact there should be at least a side C as well. The only other thing on your blog seems to be about how transcendental Nero are. That Ukf you've posted as an example of what 'a dubstep' is is also a terrible track to choose, taste aside.
