I'm going to impart some old Dad style advise on you here;

Women are stnuc before their early to mid 20s.

You put up with it because you're either the same age as them and therefore damn fucking horny, so you'll put up with shit to get laid, or else you're older than them and you put up with it because they're young and nubile and you'll put up with shit to get laid. If it gets too much (and as you get older, the limitation lines will draw themselves more clearly), then slack it off. If you can put up with it, then you'll need to learn to accept it, safe in the knowledge that as she matures she'll get less neurotic.

The younger they are (particularly if you're older) then the more likely they are to kick off against you the same way they would kick off against any other strong male figure in their lives that has a direct influence over what they do (i.e. their fathers). Girls with absent fathers are, in my experience anyway, the worst for this because hell, they're not even used to that level of influence.

But you take it because at the end of the day, it's a learning process. Relationships and all the associated shit that comes with them are part & parcel of growing up. I'm nearly 30. I've had short relationships and long relationships and relationships that weren't really relationships at all, but looking back over them and taking on board what has happened has made the relationship I've got at the moment the best thing ever. But without the shit stuff in the past, I probably wouldn't be able to appreciate the really good stuff I've got now.

Nicely said and it makes sense. Thats pretty much what i thought too. But sometimes its just so damn frustrating. Im pretty chill and just want her to calm down. So much hussin and fussin over nothing. And yeah im doomed her father wasnt a father and left when she was young and is a pathological liar.

I try to teach her and mold her into a more mature person but i guess only time and she can do that.

Also i believe she "kicks against" at me subconciously to test me if i will leave like her dad or run back to her. Shes constantly trying to measure and test my love for her. I just want her to chill out and go with the flow. If she did that i bet she would realize things would be much better.

Yeah man, age issues. When I was your age I still dated teens as I figured it's not much of a gap, but it really is.
A simple 3 years can make a lot of difference. Sorry to say but most girls that age love drama for some reason.
If you can keep up with it, stick to it but I would ask myself if there's any actual future there, or if it's some kind of break-up Mexican stand-off type situation. Is it really worth the headache?

It will most likely get worse when she hits 21, at least for a good while.

how the fuck could someone know and put a specific timeframe on something like that and tell others to do it, completely depends on the people and the situation. i thought psychologists were supposed to just let you know about how and why you are feeling the way you do, seems a bit of an abuse to start telling people specifics of who to date and set timeframes
