I thought it was Funky just slowed down so the ragga heads could get more into it. Not really fussed either way. best thing I heard in this thread was the tune in 2slo's sig.

lol i saw that dave nada guy in person..he was horrible.

least to say, 'moombahton' is my least favorite EDM genre, if it's even that.

Never been a fan of that dutch house synth sound, whatever you wanna call it. Guess this is just something else to avoid. :W:

tossing wubs and screeches on music that already existed doesn't pioneer new EDM subgenres.

So basically, producers can make really great reggaeton, or they can be stnuc and pretend its something new if they use hardcore synth patches

This is basically just proof that skrillex can put womps on top of any fucking thing he pleases and it will be deemed an evolution of music.

i thought that night remix was awesome and i love this type of beat, when the tracks don't suck

i love reggaeton, not a fan of dutch house put these two together and its not a good mix i dont want a genre i like ruined, hopefully it will push the more filth, jizz kids away from dubstep on a whole filtering out the bad leaving the good which should be good for everyone whos been pushing deep sounds, atleast we can hope that some of the bro kids delved deeper and found the proper stuff even if there where just a few its always good to see some new people come into the scene , and the spoon fed (sony type music) fans will go on to the new big thing

Never understood this. "Dem Bow" riddim + Afrojack synth = big tune. I thought it was dead already. It doesn't really feel like it's own scene - it's just different people making beats at 110.

A friend put me on to this "Moombah Soul" stuff which is pretty cool - sounds like deep/Chicago house at 110. I'll have to dig a bit deeper.

this sounds like a repost / standard repsonse from one of the self appointed 'TRU DEEP DUNGEON HEADZ'

i think moreso than anything else, those tunes just prove that many of the artists getting remixed in that fashion, weren't making dubstep to begin with. just 140 halfstep whatever it is. now its being superimposed on a different scene's drums. *shrug*
