Wub are we aloud to use granular effects like the aetherizer in absynth?Because you load the sound in like a sampler and its a granular effect so it is not really using granular synthesis is it?Please say yes because i have made a really beautiful sound i want to use.

I was wondering that too. I would imagine it's okay because it's based on sampling.

despite the fact it may well be a iconic sound, i hate it. really don't feel it fits in with the rest of the 808 kit, just sounds out of place imo

I would imagine so. Its pretty much just microscopic slicing of the sample and manipulation, so its not really synthesis at all.

every1s been asking wub this same question this month (i did too lol)
you can use any granulizer, i dont know of any granulizer that adds harmonics and im sure aetherizer doesnt either. so i would really think so

A little disappointed in the lack of musical samples. I wanted to give a run but I'm just not pulling up any inspiration for it yet. Hopefully I'll come up with something before the deadline.
On a side note, I don't think I'll ever need another percussion sample after downloading this.
