You're making EBM? As in Electronic Body Music? Fair do's, I didn't think anyone made that anymore haha.
hell yes, i love that stuff, its really good for melodies etc and i like the real harsh snares etc,

i had a go at making some here, I'm not sure if its any good mind, I tried making an elastic band stretching sound building up to the drop, then it snaps in to it lol
drop is around 50sec

Hmm, I don't really know a huge amount about the whole Industrial side of EDM but isn't this more Futurepop than EBM? Like it sounds more like Icons of Coil than Front 242. Anyway, I like the dark undercurrent to it but the main synths are a little too cheesy for me. I can handle this sort of stuff in very small doses. Think we're getting into Production forum area here though. As for dubstep, I'd recommend checking out Coki, Kromestar, Vex'd, Distance for starters if you prefer that harsher sound :4:
Yea your right actually, it is more future pop, well noticed lol. i usually listen to stuff like vnv/assemblage23/neuroticfish. thanks for the recommendations bud, ill check it out x

Thank you for your contribution, although it is not to my tastes, I appreciate the time you have taken to share it with us.

Can I politely suggest you view this thread, as you may be interested in broadening your musical horizons? It contains music that has influences from UK Garage, an offshoot from US House that emerged in the late 90's, Dub music, a genre that grew out of reggae, and has a focus less on vocals, and more on drum and bass, Techno, House, and even more Metal based tunes. You can view the thread here: http://www.dubstepforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=167366

You may find that some people disagree with a sound they have seen develop from 10 guys skanking in a basement being put to a rice krispies advert, but that's ok, because all opinions are welcome here.

Jah love.

LOL. GIve this man a gold star. I'm going to amend this to the end of the Plasticman exit and lock the thread :D
