Well, he did say something along the lines of "just made a track that could be described as Xmas Day Swagger's evil twin brother" or something on facebook a while ago, so it's not like he doesn't recognize the resemblance himself..
Edit: lol my computer was slow so just assumed it was Xmas day swagger being talked about. I don't see the big deal with regards to haunted tbh..

Lol, wish there could be Skream discussion without somebody coming in and telling us everything Skream has done for the scene.
Everybody knows, some people don't like every tune, doesn't mean they don't respect him.

Am I the only one who think it's shit but doesn't see THAT much resemblance to Haunted. Drop is like it but I am sure plenty of tunes use that effect.
Also, terrible name for the tune.

How many people are truly ripping it apart? It just sounds a lot like Haunted. Hell, I've made tunes that sound like well known tunes as well. Whatever. If it's good it's good, but when something sounds so close to something else, it can't really excite you as much as it could've.

What a fuckin stupid statement. Why do people on this forum get so offended when someone says something they dont like about their favorite artists? Get off his fuckin dick. Whats the point of this forum if people cant express when they 'god forbid' dont like something or actually have an opinion?
As far as i can see people are just saying the track sounds quite a bit like "Haunted", which quite frankley, it does, they arent overly critisizing him.
Skream is a legend no doubt, but some of the tunes he has made recently are pure shit and he is a musician and as dubstep fans on a forum we have a reason to state when we dont like something he does, after all, without fans buying his music he wouldnt be anywhere.

i have all of skreams old releases on vinyl, have done for years.
this tune bores me to tears (>my opinion<).
p.s. if your powers of observation are in anyway similar to your opinion expressed in said quote then i doubt anyone would take any notice of you

grow up its getting old slating skream and tunes he's made.. if you don't like it don't comment, im not a big on some of his new tunes but im a bit more grown up to not shit all over a guys lively hood. "Oh no skreams not making the same music he was making in 04 booohooo I wasn't around in the scene then to enjoy it so I want skream to make that sound for me now"

mate there have a been a fucking TON of threads regarding shit skream tunes.. thats why im a bit pissed everytime theres a new tune there are new guys on the forum going blah blah its shit its not like the tunes he used to make.. wtf you prob weren't even around when he was making his old stuff! guys are fuckin idiots if you don't like what your hearing go on and produce dubstep you want to hear.. its easier to sit at home and slate something someone put time and effort into rather than make your own shit
