Yeah I know, that's not what I'm saying though. I just mean that rapping is one of the only constants in hip hop (yes I am aware of instrumental hip hop, but you can make pretty much anything and call it hip hop), because its such a limitless genre musically. Rap is something that is always inextricably linked to hip hop, when not much else is.
