ok. yes the Kode set was BIG. Really well mixed. Large tunes. But overall the crowd was mad young, and the MC's were annoying as hell. would have loved to see some lyricists bless the mic instead of the typical d&b styled "cheer-leaders". Anyone remember "woah-woah-woah!"...all night friggin long? That was bordering on hellish. And the fisrt DJ who was playing all the throw-back rave shit (yes I am well old enough to remembers those records) was just not a peoper for a warm-up DJ. Play some dubs, play some roots, set the vibe. He had the bass cranked way up for a half-empty club, and it just didn't fit.

couldn't get into it last night for some reason. mate got chucked out and it was RAMMED. couldn't move.

definately not hating on Benny's records. I like 'em well enough. I just think that it was more of a middle-of-the-night set (for a warehouse party) than an opener for a dub-step party. cheers.

We got there at 23:45 and there were untold people waiting in the street with no chance of getting in, I would advise peeps to get there at 11 or so if they wanted to get in.

Benny Ill was set of the night for me no question, drawing old moving shadow 2 bad mice business amongst others

all other djs were spot on too though of course

Apart from 4hero - Mr Kirk's Nightmare, can anyone ID some of the tunes Benny played? Especially that one with the chest-smashing kick which got pulled up once or twice.

Dunno, that's just the way I read it; accusing Crazy of something like that just sounds uninformed. Came across as a bit of a whinge, which wouldn't have been bad if he'd been part of this long enough to know what Crazy D and Benny Ill were about musically..

Rocked up at about half past eleven, started blazin in queue, blurred vision and one too many tequilla meant that by the time we got in we were too caned too even skank.. but sitting in the back next to the speakers got my chest rattling so it was all good! Big up anyone i spoke too/jacked a king skin off-- your chests. Larging up my skanking sister farrah too, girl give me JOKE.
