Everything made by it's nature is new at the time of inception. Focus not on the desire to make something unfamiliar, but instead something that is unique to you.

I think it will die out soon enough if people keep up the way they feel about the whole genre itself, as in it should stay underground and all that kinda thing, I'm not saying give it to Justin Bieber and let him take over, I'm just saying openin the fuck up for new things!
Justin Bieber isn't even popular anymore, enough with that comparison.

This. Evolve your sound into something distinct and personal while at the same time applying certain aspects of what's fresh in the scene - melding classic and the new, so to speak.

That's all I have to say on this subject.
And what exactly are you providing? Being a beast does not count btw.
On a serious note there are still some great artists out there doing their own thing, being influenced by dubstep is not a bad thing, but yes there will always be new producers coming in who are trying to recreate a certain sound, nothing you can do about it.. just let them drain each other out with a million similar "tracks".

I think dubsteps going to end up like house and dnb etc are, still with a big underground following, and the odd chart success, but without all the nobheads that are just after the next cool thing

I understand..... I don't know, maybe stop listening to UKF and find some music you truly enjoy?

When UKF hit off, I sat and went on YT for a min. Went "URGHHH!!" and switched track to only have "OH SCREW THIS".
Don't think much has changed since, too scared to go back on and be more disappointed.

These Burial biters make me laught tbh, it's like they missed the point why everyone licks Burial's bum. Nice homage though.

I don't see it as a tribute to Burial, I see it as a beast of a melody.

Stop worrying about whats new or old and just be yourself.
And I find this ironic from chad. Chad tries so hard to write dubstep.

kinda sucks that the production forum is filling up with rehashed waste threads (or unfunny bait threads) on age old topics that have little to do with actual production. take that shit to general, or better yet, youtube. I come here to avoid this type of shit. (only clicked on this thread optimistically thinking op meant "man made something new" in caveman talk, not "man, make something new" )
