How do you keep up with new tunes?

Podcasts, getdarker, rinse, sub.fm, soundcloud but most importantly LIVE SHOWS
Gotta do your research. Don't expect to be handed new music on a plate

And how will you inquire into a thing when you are wholly ignorant of what it is? Even if you happen to bump right into it, how will you know it is the thing you didn't know?

DSF, Chemical, Facebook, Twitter, Rinse.
In order.

Re: How do you keep up with new tunes?
i rarely buy new music these days, as it becomes harder and harder to find stuff that is genuinely interesting slash exciting.
i have found gems though- raiding random i tunes playlists when i have the time or sifting though peoples bandcamps.
i dont check blogs, as their perspective is warped to their own peculiar tastes, not aligned to mine and generally not that interesting musically in my opinion.

I think it is easier these days than ever to find about releases, no excuses really - gone are the days of taping something off the radio, going into your local record shop and playing it to the dude behind the counter in the hope he'll recognise it!
