Podcasts, getdarker, rinse, sub.fm, soundcloud but most importantly LIVE SHOWS

Gotta do your research. Don't expect to be handed new music on a plate

i rarely buy new music these days, as it becomes harder and harder to find stuff that is genuinely interesting slash exciting.

i have found gems though- raiding random i tunes playlists when i have the time or sifting though peoples bandcamps.

i dont check blogs, as their perspective is warped to their own peculiar tastes, not aligned to mine and generally not that interesting musically in my opinion.

I think it is easier these days than ever to find about releases, no excuses really - gone are the days of taping something off the radio, going into your local record shop and playing it to the dude behind the counter in the hope he'll recognise it!

mixcloud has been a massive help recently. i miss the old days of tape packs from raves if i'm honest.......
