i started with speed garage when 'dark' was like doing a minor swell instead of a major

i listen to a lot of my stuff now and am like "wow i thought this was dark in some aspect"

I may have to take that advice, i do remember thinking this when i came across an old speed garage remix, think it was armin van helden lol

Yeah thats what im thinking of doing, playing some darker shit to begin with then go into the real cheesey shit later when people are drunk. I might even drop daniel beddingfield, its such a gay tune but its a pretty solid tune that everybody will sing along to when fucked. Along with flowers, re-rewind ect. Either sing along to or get bottles thrown at me.

same haha, but loads of my mates get all stuffy when i bring my craig david vinyls haha, but come 2 o clock when theyre battered they love it. and it doesnt matter if you mix cheesy stuff craply cos your drunk cos no one really cares, however good el b etc are they dont get the same reaction as bound for the reload at a standard party full of drunk girls ;-)

if you can mix in 15 mins of speed garage i guarantee you'll be the talk of the party. Even though you might not have been a part of that era, just showing you have the musical taste and respect for it is a big thing.... plus even if its not your thing, no human can not get into 15 mins of speed garage

FUK ALL DI SERIOUS SHIT

seriously, play craig david and artful dodger. and Flowers. also 21 seconds.

some less famous cheesy shit:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WhVTqpE-FnE
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yhuGEVTO-m4 (arguably serious)

then other classics, Cheque 1 2 by Sunship, Sincere by MJ cole, gotta have that shit. Scrappy by Wookie. Throw in some grime classix if you fancy it - you could always chuck in like Danny Weed and stuff like that. im excited for you.

ps: also everything sully has ever done! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z-7w_zLjAF4 (ok going against my cheesy vibe suggestion but still)
and don't forget neighbourhood!

Yeah i wanted to play mostly "serious" or more underground dark stuff but i'm really debating just playing mostly cheesey shit. I quite like that Amy Winehouse remix

serious garage stuff is boring, I don't trust a garage track without female vocals or lyrics about champagne

what is of value and wisdom for one man seems nonsense to another.
